Aging is inevitable, but looking old is optional. Brian Johnson has spent millions of dollars trying to reverse-engineer his age. I haven’t, but I have figured out methods to optimize my look. Check it out — I look younger than him!
Today, I will cover the Alpha M no-bullshit guide to looking young for your age. Your goal is to look the best you can for your age. So, it’s your choice—you can look like an old man, or you can look like a mature man who still looks good.
How to always look good — no matter your age
- Exercise. Work out every day. You need to take care of your physique so you don’t look sloppy. If you’re fat and overweight, you’ll automatically look older. On the flip side, if you have a muscular physique, you’ll have definition and look more youthful.
- Don’t smoke. Whether it’s cigarettes or anything else, it will prematurely age your skin. Your teeth will also be yellowed.
- Have a white and clean smile. White teeth that aren’t discolored or stained will make you look much younger.
- Abstain from alcohol. A glass of wine or a beer every once in a while won’t hurt you. But if you excessively drink, your body fat will go up, and you will accumulate man boobs. You’ll also get big and sloppy. Alcohol can also cause you to develop rough skin, which is a telltale sign of a chronic drinker. Rosacea and red, ruddy skin also make you look old from drinking alcohol. Alcohol also dehydrates you, which is another thing that makes you look old.
- Drink more water. You need to drink at least 120 oz a day with some lemon.
- Have a great head of hair. You will look older if you’re balding, receding, or thinning. It happens with the aging process. If you start losing your hair and want to do something about it, go to Bosley. Some medications can help you stop or reverse hair loss. Buzzing your hair will help you look younger, especially if combined with a great beard and some cool frames.
- Properly care for your skin: wash, moisturize, and exfoliate. Level One of Tiege Hanley has all the products you need to wash your skin twice daily, moisturize twice a day, and exfoliate twice weekly.
- Get rid of the grays. The more gray you have, the older you look. Salt and pepper can make you look more mature; some women love it. But if you have gray hair, it doesn’t indicate your aging. So remove the gray hair if you want to chop a few years off your age.
- Be well groomed. An older dude starts getting crazy nose and ear hairs, so you must ensure you trim them.
- Have timeless style. Wear age-appropriate clothing. Don’t try to rock young clothes from American Eagle or with flashy logos. Opt for a timeless, elegant style that looks youthful regardless of age. Keep up with trends because they change, and upgrade when necessary. Banana Republic, J. Crew, and some department stores are perfect because they sell items that are not too flashy over the top. They sell timeless and classic styles with nice fabrics that will work regardless of your age.
- Use sunscreen. Apply sunscreen to your face and entire body to look younger and protect your skin from premature aging. Make sure you apply an SPF of at least 20 every day before you leave the house. Don’t forget your neck. Many men neglect their necks, and it shows up as aging.
- Wear sunglasses. They make you look cool but also protect the skin around your eyes. They also protect your eyeballs.
- Eliminate red eyes. If you have red eyes, you’ll look older. So, if you have allergies, get them under control. Redness caused by high blood pressure also needs to be controlled. And make sure you’re getting enough sleep.
- Get enough sleep. Sleep is a critical component of looking young and youthful. You need to look fresh from having enough rest. Inadequate sleep can increase your body fat, while good sleep will help your body heal.
- Use eye cream. Women have been using this for years. Dab around the orbital socket to reduce puffiness and dark circles and keep the skin elastic and hydrated.
- Don’t be rigid in your ideology or beliefs. The world is gray. It’s not black and white. Ensure you get out there, have new experiences, and educate yourself. You need to have hobbies and get excited about things. Have passion and interact with people. Make connections that will keep you younger for years.
