One aspect that separates boys from men is where they live. You can elevate your aesthetic easily, but one room of the house is the last frontier for a boy to become a man. It’s the bathroom.
Even if your place is straight, if she comes over to freshen up, and your bathroom is disgusting, she’s going to be turned off. I want to help you manage the bathroom because it will truly separate the men from the boys. Pay attention to the space so that you’re not a savage.
Don’t be a savage in the bathroom
- Toilet. If it’s disgusting, you need to fix that. Make sure you have extra toilet paper and wet wipes. Make sure your porcelain throne is clean, which means it does not have pee around the ring or floor. You should also not have splatters in the bowl, including the toilet seat’s underside. Clean up after every time you’ve used it. It’s very important not to have a nasty trashcan as well. Use a bag so the bottom of the trash can doesn’t get disgusting with gum, nasty hair, and funky stuff. An overflowing trash can is gross.
- Towels. You don’t need a fresh towel every time you get out of the shower, but you must ensure it’s cleaned regularly. Have a few towels to rotate them, and store them under the sink or in your cabinet. Always have a fresh towel ready for her, and make sure it’s classic, classic, and manly. Also, you need a towel by the sink to wipe up after spitting and rinsing.
- Bathmat. A lot of times, boys don’t think about a bathmat. You need one when you get out of the shower so you don’t slip and fall. It also helps to absorb the moisture off your feet so you don’t track footprints around your bathroom. Also, have a bathmat underneath your sink to elevate the aesthetic and bring richness and texture to your bathroom. A bathroom can be a bit bland and blase, but you can elevate it with some art.
- Toothbrush. A manual toothbrush doesn’t clean your teeth as well as a sonic toothbrush. I use a Laifen Wave, the best I’ve ever used. It’s affordable as well. With oscillation, it cleans your teeth better, which reduces the amount of plaque that builds up in your teeth. Your breath won’t stink.
- Mirror and counters. Make sure that your mirror is not covered with splatters and spit. Also, make sure your counter shouldn’t be cluttered with a bunch of crap all over the place.
- Drawers and cabinets. You need to have a place for everything in your drawers and cabinets. At the dollar store, you can find bins to separate all your stuff. You can use containers for skin care, some for hair products, another container for deodorant, and similar items. Make sure your drawers are tidy, clean, and organized. Just don’t throw things in and have them scattered.
- Hand soap. You should have some hand soap next to your sink and a towel to dry your hands.
- Sink drain. The sink drain should be cleaned and should not have a bunch of funky hair and crap and crusty nasty stuff around it.
- Floor. The floor should not have pubes from your manscaping or beard stubble from your shaving. It also shouldn’t have hair on it. Sweep it up, or it can be a deal-breaker and turn off. I do my beard grooming and manscaping in the shower, so clean-up is easy. I also have a mirror in there to help me do my business.
- Shower. Ensure your shower is clean and free of grime, mildew, and soap stains. You should have a body puff or a sponge for showering, but change those out because they can get nasty and build up bacteria. The bottom line is that your shower should be as clean as possible, including the drain.
