In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, Pete & Pedro , Ollie, and ENEMY says “Good is the Enemy of Great” inspired the name of his new company. Alpha visits the shop in Chicago boasting this tagline — it’s a hot place to buy premium sunglasses. They have had some prestigious clients such as Keanu Reeves, Johnny Depp, and Oprah.
High End Shades
Zach discusses how polarization is unnecessary unless fishing. He also says Zeiss lenses are the best — and he wouldn’t expect them on sunglasses as inexpensive as ENEMY. Alpha discusses how he has expensive taste in sunglasses, which he loves Retrospecs. The higher ends just feel and fit better. Alpha tries on many high end shades — which are not polarized. He even tries on $5,000 glasses that are gold plated. The Terminator 2 sunglasses are also discussed: titanium and sterling silver.
What Makes Sunglasses Worth the Money?
Zach is an expert about sunglasses, and he explains that premium sunglasses should have:
- super lightweight temple that goes around your ear
- nose bridge that fits correctly
- backside reflective coating to reduce glare & sharpen everything
- a quality UV protective lens (Zeiss is phenomenal)
An Expert Reviews ENEMY
ENEMY 1 are incredibly light with dark lenses. The spring hinges are perfect for taking off with one hand. The proportions are great, keeping eyes centered. ENEMY 2 is comfortable with the nose pads– and he loves the color and spring-hinges. ENEMY 3 are his favorite. In terms of value, Zach is shocked, and he thinks Alpha has killed it.
