Flax seeds are heart healthy and super packed with nutrients. Our bodies need these good fats: Omega 3, 6, and 9. Flax seed is power packed with 3 and 6. These three Omegas are critical in preventing heart disease, cancer, and maintaining a healthy weight. These good fats are used by our bodies, namely our brains! You can fight off Alzheimer too!
You can get Omegas with fish (salmon) and cod oil… but it can get expensive. What is easier and cheaper is eating flax seeds. You can grab them at organic food stores such as Whole Foods. A tablespoon once a day is all that’s needed. Alpha adds it to his protein shake.
You have to chew them or grind them. You can’t just eat the whole seeds because the nutrients won’t be absorbed. Also, don’t buy it already ground because it loses a lot of nutrients. You can buy capsules or oil if you don’t want to grind the seeds yourself.
