11 Popular Trends DESTROYING Modern Men!

December 12, 2022
It’s never been a more bizarre time to be a man, and one of the symptoms is the rise of people like Andrew Tate and other extreme dudes. The manosphere is a symptom of the problem: men don’t know where they fit or belong. Men are seeking leadership and looking for someone to tell them it’s okay to be a man.

But men shouldn’t be ashamed or embarrassed to embrace being a man! The truth is society is not causing the problem — it’s some current trends. Buying into these trends will destroy you as a man and an individual. I’m going to review some of these popular trends destroying modern man.

Steer clear of these ways of thinking

  1. Participating in polarized segregation. This is thinking that the world is black and white and that we all need to fit into a little section, segment, or box. Thinking of the world as black or white, alpha or beta, strong or weak, masculine or feminine will cause you to miss incredible opportunities and people. The truth is that most of us fall in the middle without an extreme view or vision of the world. This is where men should strive to be. Life is about learning, growing, and exploring different cultures and people. It’s okay to be friends with somebody who doesn’t think the same way you do.
  2. Hating people for being different. There’s nothing wrong with having your tribe or aligning yourself philosophically with a specific group. But this doesn’t mean you need to hate somebody for being different. This aspect has become incredibly prevalent, and you see it all over the place. Disliking people for having different views, opinions, or lifestyles is being seen on social media and in person. What does it matter if somebody thinks differently than you? What does it matter if somebody wants to identify as something else? It doesn’t matter to me because I’m too busy trying to make myself the best person that I can possibly be.
  3. Embracing sheep mentality. I look around at some people that are what I call false profits. These super charismatic people have developed an incredible following whether or not they’re teaching how to make money, get girls, or whatever. I look at the men following these people, who are just accepting and buying into the garbage they’re saying. These followers are not thinking for themselves. Until these men analyze the situation and choose to think for themselves, they will not figure out their own way. Don’t follow the herd, gentleman. You will never be as successful as you can be.
  4. Being materialistic. What’s happening on social media and all around is breaking my heart. People have become so obsessed with material possessions as opposed to what really makes them happy.
  5. Projecting fake happiness. Everyone is like Yoda throwing quotes out there when you look at social media or talk to somebody. You need to realize that every single person has problems and that that is what makes life beautiful. Sometimes problems interfere with being able to move forward and deal with issues. If you’re struggling with your past, you need to owe it to yourself to get therapy. That’s what I did. A great resource is Better Help, that’s therapy done securely online, worldwide, with licensed therapists, and discreetly.
  6. Having a victim mentality. Too many men have the ‘oh poor me’ mentality, sitting around thinking that somebody owes them something. The truth is that nobody owes anyone anything. If you want something in this world, go out and get it. Blaming and whining aren’t going to do anything other than perpetuate the loser mentality. You must realize you have ultimate control of your destiny and life.
  7. Being fearful of offending people. We are so worried about everybody’s tender feelings that it prevents us from standing up and speaking our minds. Tell the truth because a lot of times, we lie to protect people. I’m not saying you should be mean or treat people poorly, but you shouldn’t lie. Speaking the truth is incredibly powerful. Surround yourself with better people willing to tell the truth, even if it’s something you don’t want to hear.
  8. Being okay hanging out with losers. Don’t hang around people that are not good for you. Negative people that are doing toxic and destructive things will hold you down. Surround yourself with higher-quality people that are inspiring and uplifting.
  9. Being obsessed with women. I see men losing their minds simping over every pretty girl they see. Don’t get me wrong, I love spicy señoritas. But that doesn’t mean I would obsess over one or allow her to rule my life and every decision. You need to have a healthy relationship with women as well as get pornography under control. If you think pornography is how women should be treated, you will have a lot of disappointed women in your life.
  10. Accepting sitting on your ass. Everything from computers to video games, we are sedentary. You have to get up and move. Challenge your body because you won’t be healthy or feel good if you don’t. Get outside and move. Go for a walk, go for a jog, or get your ass into the gym and work out.
  11. Believing in steroids. Don’t cave into trying to look good at any cost. Refrain from sacrificing momentary abs and big biceps for long-term health. Natural gains combined with healthy eating and moving your body will stick with you long-term.
