Fact: you can’t change your age, and you are never going to be younger than you are right now. There is no fountain of youth, but if you live right, you can look younger than you do today tomorrow. Yes, you can change HOW you age. Your lifestyle and how you take care of your body are the keys for looking good for your age– at any age.
Small tweaks in your daily routine can pay huge rewards such as looking and living younger! Aaron Marino of alpha m. presents his top ten tips:
- Drink enough water– all systems including your skin need plenty of hydration
- Sunscreen– use daily before you leave the house
- Wash your face prior to going to bed– give it a good ole fashion exfoliation to remove all of the grime, dirt, and dead skin cells
- Moisturize– hydrate the outside just like water hydrates the inside
- Food selection– eliminate processed food (extra salt, extra sugar, extra fat). Make whole food choices!
- Wear sunglasses– protect your eyes and prevent wrinkles around your eyes
- Eat good fats– good fats contain essential oils, vitamin E, and antioxidants to protect your skin and promote skin cell turnover
- Sweat– remove impurities & toxins as well as helps skin to look radiant
- Control alcohol consumption– it’s rough on the skin (exasperates Rosacea too) and dehydrates your body
- Don’t smoke– quit! Smoking is terrible for your body inside and outside.
