The truth is that other people’s opinions hold us back in life. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness, and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM https://iamalpham.com/ AaronMarino https://aaronmarino.com/ Pete & Pedro https://peteandpedro.com/ Tiege Hanley https://www.tiege.com/and ENEMY https://enemy.com/ says you should NEVER feel bad about some of people’s opinions. You have one life, so you don’t allow people’s preconceived notions and opinions affect how you feel about yourself.
Don’t feel guilty!
- Being successful — you should never feel bad about achieving something amazing. Alpha has personally become more successful professionally & financially over the years, and he feels uncomfortable & embarrassed about his success when around people he’s known for a long time. He knows it doesn’t make sense, but he feels ‘guilty’.
- Outgrowing your friends — don’t feel bad if friendships go different directions; it’s also okay to outgrow relationships as well if you two aren’t growing in the same direction. It’s also okay to outgrow family, especially if they are not positive influences and bring negativity.
- Who you choose to love — no matter who you love, don’t allow small and insignificant people to affect your self-esteem or the way you feel about yourself because of who you are into.
- Wanting to look good — don’t worry about what other people think or what they say in regard to being well dressed and well-groomed. OWN IT — like if you wear an Anson Belt rather than a belt that looks like a war zone!
- Hanging out with your friends if you are in a relationship — don’t allow your relationship to dictate whether or not you can spend time with your friends.
- Feeling guilty about leading a healthy + clean lifestyle — those around you may poke fun at you and pick at you because of your lifestyle choices. Keep doing you and don’t worry about them.
- Taking care of your business (aka spanking the monkey) — it’s normal and natural. Don’t feel bad about it.
- Being honest and giving your opinion — don’t fall into the trap of being a people-pleaser. Sometimes honesty can sting and may require a degree of tact, but if someone asks your opinion, give it. Don’t feel bad about it.
BONUS Having political views and stances — you’re not ‘wrong’ for what you believe, and you shouldn’t be beaten down for what you believe.
