Pea Coat Price Points | Does Higher Price Equal Higher Quality?
In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro is talking about his favorite fall and winter accessory, the scarf.
Scarves are a great way to stay warm, look stylish, and accessorize. There are so many options to coordinate and contrast! He loves his handmade Nana scarves and work great with his casual wear. Some scarves are a bit more dressy, however. You can find a scarf to compliment any wardrobe option. It’s a great way to accessorize while staying warm. Six feet is standard although lengths, widths, and material vary.
Four Simple Ways to Tie One On
Alpha demonstrates each of the following knots with descriptions:
- Single Loop – it’s not complicated. Throw around your neck with length even on both side. Pull and loop casually then adjust. It allows for flexibility whether being worn as an accessory or for keeping warm.
- Fake Knot – Alpha describes his 2 ft wide scarf and how it’s double-sided and cotton. It’s a great option for detail and dimension. Take scarf evenly over neck and give 1/2 a tug. Leave a foot and tie a loose knot. With the other side, loop around neck and pull through. Pop it up then button up.
- Ascot – Alpha’s using a black polyester scarf. Around your neck, shorten and straighten. Loop one time around, take longer end over shorter end. Feed up and pull it out.
- Double Up (Alpha’s go-to knot) – this knot is great for longer scarves as it doesn’t work with short scarves. Fold in half, drape around neck, open one end up, thread other through, and pull. It’s simple and easy as well as warm and stylish.
