8 Tips to Be CONFIDENT Without Looking ARROGANT!

February 21, 2022
The goal of my videos is confidence, and this has been the goal since day one. I want to help viewers feel amazing about themselves. Growing up, I didn’t have that support, and I was incredibly insecure. Deep down, I still feel like I’m that poor, insecure kid that’s trying to prove that I’m good enough and worthy every single day.

But, I have started to figure out some things as I’ve gotten a little older, and I have become an incredibly confident person. But one of the aspects of confidence is ego, which I want to discuss today. Specifically, I want to talk about how to be confident without being arrogant.

How not to be an egomaniac

  1. Remember where you came from — typically, there’s a struggle before success, and I am a firm believer that we are all one or two bad decisions from being broke or in jail. I am fortunate that I didn’t find success until my late 30s, which has kept me grounded. I know what it looks like on the other side and how bad it sucks.
  2. Don’t believe your own hype — surround yourself with people who are willing to call you out instead of surrounding yourself with people who tell you what you want to hear.
  3. Acknowledge your strengths — be strong and intelligent enough to know what you’re weak at.
  4. Be vulnerable — by being vulnerable, you’re acknowledging the fact that you have weaknesses or issues. You’re willing to share and divulge, and you’re comfortable in your own skin.
  5. Don’t run from problems — face your problems and acknowledge what you have to deal with, which is one of my most defining confidence moments. Deal with the baggage and stop self-sabotaging. Go to counseling or therapy to help deal with your issues, find happiness, and stop running. You deserve to be happy! Click the link https://betterhelp.com/alpham to get 10% OFF your 1st month.
  6. Remember that happiness is the goal — money is not the goal, and money will not make you happy if you are not a happy person. People who have a lot of money shouldn’t be idolized; people that are happy and comfortable in their own skin are.
  7. Don’t talk only about yourself — instead, ask questions of other people, engage with people, and actively listen.
  8. Surround yourself with like-minded people — make sure these people are not toxic losers or egomaniacs. These people will drag you down and trap you within insecurity.
